US Department of State Sponsored Programme 2009

The DLF-CSR Department participated in the US Department of State Sponsored International Visitor Leadership Program 2009. This exchange programme was instrumental in introducing CSR policies, programmes and processes beign adopted in the US, besides opening a host of partnerships opportunities in areas of social and environmental concerns. The US Department of State invited the DLF CSR Department to participate in this programme. The delegates visited a large number of select organisations in the US ranging from development sector organisations, and NGOs to large corporates. Similarly, delegates of US Department of State were invited and introduced to DLF-CSR programmes in India. The interaction has not only helped in exchange of best practices, but has been intrumental in establishing dialogue to open up new areas of cooperation in the social realm.
