DLF-Choudhary Raghuvendra Singh Scholarship for Excellence in Education

We at DLF Foundation are committed to welfare and community development activities in underserved areas. A scholarship programme serves both as a means and an incentive for aspirants to strive harder and further. ‘DLF-Choudhary Raghuvendra Singh Scholarship for Excellence in Education’ program aims to promote talent from the underprivileged class of the society.

Guiding Principles

• To address the underprivileged sections of society.
• To address maximum number of meritorious students.
• To cover all stages of development from school education, vocational, graduate and post graduate studies.
• To encompass professional avenues.
• It must act as a source of inspiration and motivation for other students.

Types of Scholarships

The scholarship programme is in the final stages of implementation. It will consist of 125 scholarships which will cover the entire education spectrum with the first scholarships being granted after 10th Class to support meritorious needy students perform well in their senior secondary education. To support further avenues for these students, scholarships have been earmarked to support those who opt to pursue vocational training at ITIs or Polytechnics. Students following up on graduate education in Medicine, Engineering and Management will have separate allocations to ensure they are not deprived of an opportunity to complete their studies.

The maximum scholarship amount under this scheme is Rs 1 lakh per annum.
