As part of its commitment to strengthening governance and nation-building, DLF Foundation, in partnership with the Global Village Foundation, is supporting the Chief Minister's Good Governance Associates (CMGGA) Training Programme (2025), a flagship initiative of the Government of Haryana. This experiential learning model aims to enhance capacity and improve last-mile governance service delivery across the Haryana district.
Implemented by Global Village Foundation, CMGGA deploys Associates who collaborate with district administrations to provide evidence based analysis, strengthen implementation frameworks, and bridge the divide between policy and execution. The initiative began with an intensive induction in December 2025, featuring expert sessions, governance workshops, systems-thinking exercises, district immersions, and visits to institutions such as Parliament and Rashtrapati Bhavan.
During the month of January 2026, Associates conducted field visits, engaged with stakeholders, facilitated Samadhan Shivirs, and tracked actionable reforms. Associates also supported district-level innovations in education quality, public health outreach, road safety, model village development, and the creation of a startup ecosystem, among others.
By supporting CMGGA, DLF Foundation aims to enable young governance associates in structured field immersion, data-driven policy analysis, and joint governance reform. This Project promotes responsive, accountable governance aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and the long-term public interest.
Limited access to education, professional skills, and employment opportunities for women continues to restrict women's participation in India's workforce, particularly among those from socially and economically vulnerable backgrounds.
On World Youth Skills Day 2025, DLF Foundation, in partnership with Visan Foundation, launched Project WISE - Women in Sustainable Employment, dedicated to skill-development and employment support for women from low-income families.
Through WISE, women are being offered skill training in three courses: Guest Service Associate (Food & Beverage), and General Duty Assistant Trainee (Healthcare) at the learning centre in Gurugram. These courses aim to bridge the employment gap through industry-relevant, certified programmes comprising 2 to 2.5 months of classroom training, recognised by the Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council, the Healthcare Sector Skill Council, and the National Skill Development Corporation.
Through the WISE initiative, women such as Kajal and Aradhana from Uttar Pradesh, Pramila from Bihar, and Paramjeet from Haryana secured salaried employment as General Duty Assistants. Aakriti Pradhan from Darjeeling, who had discontinued higher studies due to financial hardship, also secured employment, enabling her to support her family and her siblings' education.
WISE recognises that when a woman is empowered to earn and grow, the impact extends beyond her to the entire community. This initiative is a collective investment into a future where women lead the way in building resilient, self-sufficient communities.
Across the cohort, the programme strengthened confidence, built career pathways, and improved household stability through steady incomes. By opening doors to dignified work, the WISE Initiative builds skills and helps families build a more secure future.

The UPSC Civil Services Examination is among India's most competitive and aspirational exam that opens the doors to the Indian Administrative Service, the Indian Police Service, the Indian Foreign Service, and more. Aspirants from across the country appear for these exams, including rural youth. However, with most coaching centres concentrated in cities, rural aspirants are forced to relocate for coaching and mentorship. High urban living expenses and limited support systems push back many capable and deserving candidates who are financially challenged.
In partnership with the Atulya Foundation, we are supporting the Grameen Yuva Kendra to empower civil service aspirants from rural and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Implemented through the DLF QEC Educational Charitable Trust, the project supports 132 aspirants with safe, affordable, and well-equipped residential facilities in Delhi. These facilities reduce the financial burden of urban relocation and ensure quality resources, providing an enabling environment for education. The Kendra offers secure accommodation, common study halls, library access, wi-fi and digital learning resources.
In addition, aspirants receive structured counselling and mentorship at every stage of the examination process, from the preliminary exams to the final interview, Senior and retired bureaucrats share practical insights from years of public service, helping candidates navigate each stage with clarity. confidence, and purpose.
The Initiative reflects our long-term focus to promote equitable opportunities for rural youth. Through Grameen Yuva Kendra, DLF Foundation is strengthening equitable access to educational opportunity and creating an enabling ecosystem for talented rural youth to pursue careers in public service, leadership, and nation-building.
